Rent rents increased by 3.7% in October

07/11/2017

According to the Rental Rental Revenue Update Index (ARCA) for Rental Insurance, rental income closed October with an increase of 3.70%. Thus, a rental agreement signed in October 2016 with an income of 500 euros would be updated with the ARCA index last month to 518.50 euros. This increase is due to the scarce supply of rental housing and the increases in the amount of rent for new contracts.
In this regard, the Commercial Director of Alquiler Seguro, David Caraballo, has affirmed that the rents of the new rental contracts and their updates "are influencing the variations in prices". In addition, he noted that "the revaluation of new rentals is motivated, among other factors, by the shortage of supply in the real estate market of leases."
